Ubuntu is a linux based operating system and different from Windows and Mac operating system platform. Ubuntu is free to use, means you don’t need to buy. You can download this OS for free. But if you want to use the official DVD of UBUNTU then you have to pay little bit money which is much more cheaper then others operating system like Microsoft and MAC.
After downloading this UBUNTU 12.04, burn this .ISO file in blank CD.
Now, How to install this UBUNTU 12.04 Operating system from CD?
To install this UBUNTU 12.04 operating system from CD, please follow these steps:
1. Insert your UBUNTU 12.04 CD into your CD / DVD ROM. See below picture
2. Start your Computer and go to your Computer BIOS and change the boot order to CD ROM first. Then restart your computer. See below picture
3. Now your computer will start and boot from CD. See below picture
4. In UBUNTU 12.04 Installation Welcome Screen choose the language that you want to use and click on INSTALL. See below picture
5. From the next Screen, choose option that you want to install. See below picture
6. Select the drive that you want to use to install UBUNTU 12.04 and click on Install Now. See below picture
7. Computer will ask your location. Locate the location of your own and click on Continue. See below picture
8. Choose the keyboard layout that you want to use. See below picture
9. In “Who Are You Screen”, Type your User name and password. Click on Continue. See below picture
10. After providing all necessary information, Now your computer will start installing UBUNTU in your computer. See below picture
11. When your computer successfully completes to install UBUNTU 12.04, Restart your computer message will come. See below picture
12. Restart your computer and login to your UBUNTU 12.04 operating system with your user name and password. See below picture
