Job Level: Associate
Application Development (AD) and Data Analytics (DA) include:
Today’s business environment generates vast amounts of data, and almost all of this data is captured and stored in computerized form. Analytics helps litigators and investigators understand this electronic data and put it into context. Analytics engagements focus on complex domestic and international litigations and investigations in areas as diverse as Market Timing, SEC Inquiries, M&A Litigation, Corporate Fraud, Class Action Lawsuits, and Foreign Corrupt Practices. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies in the financial services and banking sectors, health care, telecommunications and other industries, as well as many of the most highly regarded law firms in the country.

Analytics clients challenge us to quickly produce applications that support complex business requirements, manage vast amounts of electronic data and offer sophisticated search capabilities to empower our end users. Analytics team members collaborate with attorneys, forensic accountants, clients, and other investigators to produce analyses in support of an investigation. Service Offering Specific responsibilities:
Application Development (AD)
In this position, Associates will build .NET web applications, write code, design user interfaces and develop innovative technical solutions to challenging business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customized user interfaces for data investigation, reporting,visualization and analytics using .NET languages
- Create web applications using the .NET framework (versions 4.0 and 3.5) in C# and VB.NET using agile techniques
- Deploy business applications to secure, scalable environments
- Familiarity with relational databases in order to build scalable data driven solutions.
- Utilize critical thinking and understanding of business issues to solve complex technical and business related problems through technology.
Competency with one or more of the following strengthens an Associate application:
- Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft C#, Visual Basic .Net, VB or VBA,
- Microsoft ASP .Net,
- HTML,
- JavaScript and the JQuery framework,
- CSS and user interface design and,
- System Administration.
Data Analytics (DA)
In this position Associates will gather, standardize, and analyze voluminous transactional electronic data (e.g., banking records, general ledgers, broker-dealer records, sales and inventory data, medical data, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
· Create, manage, and utilize high performance relational databases (SQL Server, Microsoft Access, OLAP and other proprietary software).
· Analyze and mine large data sets to discover patterns, examine financial data and filter for targeted information in support of variety of engagements including anti-fraud and anti-corruption engagements.
· Utilize critical thinking and understanding of business issues to solve complex technical and business related problems through technology.
· Cleanse, manipulate and extract data to create reports related to events and transactions; provide data for other analytics capabilities
· Explore and utilize predictive modeling, data visualization and perform quantitative analysis.
Competency with one or more of the following strengthens an Associate application:
· Microsoft SQL Server
· Microsoft Access,
· Microsoft Visual Basic .Net, VB or VBA,
Qualifications:
Bachelor Technology/ Engineering (B.Tech/BE) -
IT/CSE/ ECE/ EEE/Bio Informatics
Criteria: 60% or 6.5 GPA and above without any running backlogs
Skills:
· Be deadline-oriented and quality focused.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrate professionalism.
· Good presentation skills.
· Good general understanding of information technology (IT).
· Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word
· Ability to multi task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
